Aaron Judge Should Quit The Yankees, Says Former outfielder and designated hitter Jose Canseco: ‘Place Is A Dump’

One of Aaron Judge’s biggest choices of his life must be made. He is uncertain as to whether he will stay with the New York Yankees or look for a new team, and his future is at stake. But Former Cuban outfielder and designated hitter Jose Canseco is pretty sure as to what Aaron Judge shall do!

According to reports from the summer, Aaron Judge declined the New York Yankees‘ offer of a seven-year, $213 million contract deal. For those who haven’t been paying attention, Judge made a great choice in that situation because he is enjoying a career season in 2022.

Aaron Judge’s 62 home runs have kept him perched on the edge of history, but the free agency rumours are moving full-speed ahead. How much more money will he bring in this winter through self-bets? In 2023 and beyond, will he play for the Yankees or another team?

Aaron Judge Should Quit The Yankees, Says Jose Canseco

One former Yankee was direct in his response to Judge’s predicament. Former Cuban outfielder and designated hitter Jose Canseco played in New York.

Jake Arrieta, a former NL Cy Young Award winner, advised Aaron Judge to go to the Mets on a Barstool Sports podcast last week after the slugger received jeers at Yankee Stadium during the playoffs.

“If I was him, I’d say f*** this; I’m not going back there. This, I’m not going back there. You want to boo me after what I did for you guys? I’m going to the Mets,” Arrieta said.

As a response to what Jake Arrieta said, Canseco tweeted on Monday night for the first time in nearly a month.

Aaron, judge Arietta was right. Just run. Don’t walk for the nearest exit to get out of New York. The place is a dump, and the fans are awful,” Canseco wrote. “Aaron, judge, you are the God of baseball, and the New York fans would have easily crucified you at times. Get out of there ASAP.”

Why This Strong Dislike, Though?

Jose Canseco, a former Yankees player, admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs in the past and continued to criticize the team’s supporters.

“Karen judge, even if you were to replicate the season you had this year again, the fans would still hate you because you’re making more money. New York is known for the most psychologically damaged delete damaged angriest people in the world,” he wrote.

Canseco explained that Judge would still face criticism from Yankees supporters even if he were to sign an extension in response to his remarks against Judge.
