Aaron Judge Cheers On His Wife Samantha Bracksieck At The NYC Marathon, While Anticipating Whether He Would Stay With The Yankees Or Not
On Sunday, the first day of MLB free agency, Aaron Judge joyously cheered on his wife, Samantha Bracksieck, as she ran in the 2022 New York City Marathon.
After his wife crossed the finish line, Judge, 30, welcomed her and was joined by friend and Yankees superstar Giancarlo Stanton. They then shared a tender embrace.
Following the 26.2-mile trip through the boroughs, Bracksieck, who married Judge in Hawaii last December, smiled from ear to ear in a slew of photos.

Bracksieck and Judge were high school sweethearts and have remained close throughout the majority of Judge’s MLB career, including the regular season of 2022 when Judge made history by breaking Roger Maris’ American League home run record.

Bracksieck had attended numerous games with Judge’s parents, Patty and Wayne, in the weeks before that historic October day in Arlington, where Judge crushed home run No. 62 against the Rangers in an effort to get a front-row seat to history.
After breaking numerous MLB records, Judge later praised his loved ones for their unwavering support.

“Getting a chance to do this, with the team we’ve got, the guys surrounding me, the constant support from my family who been with me through this whole thing … it’s been a great honour,” Judge said at the time.
The Astros, who won the World Series on Saturday with a victory over the Phillies in Game 6, swept the Yankees in the ALCS despite Judge and the Yankees finishing the regular season with a playoff berth.

All of this is happening amid Aaron Judge’s free agency. The renowned No. 99 baseball player for the Bronx Bombers is taking it easy while the New York Yankees head office still isn’t sure what to do with Aaron Judge, who is now a free agent and can sign with anybody he wants.

Judge is expecting offers from other teams, including the New York Mets, San Francisco Giants, and Los Angeles Dodgers, as he has not yet reached an agreement to stay with the Yankees.

On Friday, Yankees general manager Brian Cashman stated the following: “We would do anything to have Aaron Judge return. He is currently on a Hall-of-Fame-like career path. Nothing would be more ideal than for him to continue managing right field for us and having the same positive effects on us both on and off the field as he has so far.”
