Tammy Sytch discloses alarming health issue, battling severe blood clot in Florida jail.

There have been serious health issues for Tammy Sytch since she was sent to a Florida state jail. The WWE Hall of Famer is battling a significant blood clot in her leg. She was sentenced to 17 years in prison in 2023 for her role in a deadly vehicle accident.

She voiced her annoyance and criticized the jail administration’s handling of her situation in an interview with TMZ Sports.

Sytch had swelling in her left leg extending from her knee to her toes after being sent to the Marion County-based Lowell Correctional Institution earlier this year.

The situation has gotten worse

She promptly sought medical attention because she had diabetes, but she says her requests were first turned down. She compared the unsightly swelling in her leg to it being inflated to double its normal size.

Her illness worsened; she developed a huge red mass under her calf and her leg took on strange colors.

She could hardly walk at all due to the excruciating pain and swelling. She eventually had a blood clot detected and was given blood thinners after a string of complaints.

Tammy Sytch, however, has concerns regarding her continued care in the prison because she is having trouble getting the medication required for her treatment.

“I could barely walk on my leg,” said she.

“All that’s been going through my mind for the past three weeks is, ‘Oh, my God, I’m going to follow in [my ex-husband’s] footsteps and die of a blood clot just like he did because I can’t get medical treatment at this prison.

“It’s pretty bad.”
