Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel and model Josie Canseco have publicly acknowledged their relationship on social media, sharing affectionate photos from the Stagecoach Festival. The couple was photographed embracing at the festival in Indio, California, with one picture capturing them hugging and another showing them gazing into each other’s eyes.

Manziel posted the latter image to his Instagram story, visible to his 1.7 million followers, along with a video of Canseco dancing. Canseco, on the other hand, shared the photo of their embrace. These moments were captured as they enjoyed Morgan Wallen’s performance at the festival.

While the exact start of their relationship is unclear, Manziel’s most recent romantic involvement was with beauty specialist Kenzie Werner. Prior to that, he was married to Bre Tiesi from 2018 to 2021. Canseco, daughter of MLB legend Jose Canseco, has previously been linked with Logan Paul, Brody Jenner, and rapper Mike.
Manziel, a first-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and Heisman Trophy winner at Texas A&M, had a short-lived professional football career lasting just two seasons. He has been candid about his struggles with substance abuse during his time in the NFL, revealing to Shannon Sharpe in February that his weight dropped from 210 to 170 pounds in 2015 due to heavy cocaine use.

Reflecting on his turbulent past, Manziel admitted to his drug issues, stating, “The Coke, the oxy, and the Percocet were very, very tumultuous in my life and popped their head especially the days of wandering around the Hollywood Hills.” He recounted an instance after the 2015 season when he realized the extent of his drug problem while in Las Vegas.
