A look into Bubba Wallace and Amanda Carter’s life as they expect their first child
Bubba Wallace, a driver for NASCAR, is accelerating his transition into motherhood.
The driver for 23XI Racing and his spouse, Amanda Carter, have revealed that they are expecting their first child together.
With a series of images showing their dog Asher and a sonogram, the couple announced their news on Instagram.
“Spring has sprung. Summer will be rad. Fall is the first time, We’ll be mom and dad!” In the post, Amanda stated.

“Baby Wallace coming October 2024.”
The baby is due the same week as the Nascar driver’s birthday, he joked.
“It would be the worst to have a baby on your birthday/birthday week,'” On Twitter, he posted.
“Me: ‘well damn…okay’ Coming…my birthday week.”

After becoming engaged the previous year, Bubba and Amanda wed in a sumptuous wedding in North Carolina on New Year’s Eve 2022.
It wasn’t love at first sight when the pair met in high school.
“She thought I was nice, but not attractive,” Bubba Wallace disclosed to People.
“I just remember seeing her and I was like, ‘Wow, she’s beautiful’.”

It was not a reciprocal sentiment, though.
“We were in Spanish class in high school, and we sat near each other,” Amanda recalled.
“I don’t remember the first meeting, but he would always try to cheat. We were friends.
“There were three or four of us that did all of our projects together and he always would try to cheat off my exams because I was much smarter than he was!”

They maintained communication, and in 2015 they got back in touch.
He invited her to one of his races in Las Vegas the next year, which marked a major turn in their relationship.
“It was my senior year spring break. And I didn’t have plans at the time,” explains Amanda.
“And he was like, ‘Well, I’ll be out in Vegas while you’re on spring break, do you want to come?’ And I said, ‘No.’

“And then he asked a few times again, and I eventually said yes.
“I was like, well, I have to get to know him more if we’re going to be on vacation for a week together.
“We had really started to really like each other.”

Amanda was formerly employed at Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a senior financial analyst.
She now aspires to be an artist and frequently shares her oil paintings on Instagram.
Their lengthy history together feels “special” to Bubba and Amanda.
“We still reminisce or talk about things from the past,” he stated.
“We just know so much about each other’s lives from so long ago.
