MMA’s Rachael Ostovich showcases a powerful third-trimester workout: “Third trimester ain’t stopping me”
MMA athlete Rachael Ostovich, who is in her third month of pregnancy, isn’t letting her bun in the oven stop her from working out hard and hitting the punching bag!
The former UFC talent and 1-0 BKFC fighter shared a video of her most recent workout on Tuesday. She looked great in a one-piece athleisure outfit and joked about a new piece of equipment she added to her workout regimen.

“Third trimester ain’t stopping me,” stated Ostovich on Instagram. “lol I’m sure Miss. Dovey Girl is having the time of her life in there.”
In addition to sharing some fighting advice, Ostovich—who made her pregnancy public on February 25 with a nude picture shoot—said that hitting her new water punching bag with only one hand helps develop a tolerance for striking a real person, which is something she does frequently in her day job.

In the upcoming months, Ostovich will give birth to her second kid, her first with comedian Tumua Tuinei. Based on the experience the baby girl is already having in the womb, it’s possible that she could play a major role in combat sports in the future!

It was revealed on May 27, 2021, that Ostovich will take on Paige VanZant at BKFC 19 on July 23, 2021. Paige VanZant is the fighter Ostovich lost to in mixed martial arts at UFC Fight Night: Cejudo vs. Dillashaw. She was declared the winner by a unanimous vote. She won the Fight of the Night title for her battle.
