Mike Tyson Is Not Shy To Admit That He Is “Scared To Death” To Fight Jake Paul
In the boxing world, Mike Tyson has achieved about all a boxer could hope to; his next opponent, Jake Paul, has only fought in ten professional fights.
Though Paul has his sights set on becoming a world champion, he still has a long way to go before Tyson is considered the greatest fighter of all time.

Even for the “Baddest Man On The Planet,” who acknowledges that he is “scared to death” over his altercation with the former YouTuber, the butterflies are still there.
The huge age difference between Tyson and Paul has drawn criticism for the highly anticipated fight, which takes place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20.
The YouTuber has only fought in ten battles and is only 27 years old. Since his most recent exhibition bout, which finished in a draw with Roy Jones Jr. in December 2020, Tyson, 57, has not engaged in combat.
Mike Tyson says that Jake Paul has come a long way from doing weird dances and that's not the same guy he is going to be fighting but 'he’s going to be greatly mistaken'

Thus, it should come as no surprise that Tyson, who has had trouble moving about recently, is terrified to face the American boxer. He maintains, nonetheless, that this is all a prelude to a battle.
“I have a weird personality – I don’t think it’s weird though. Whatever I’m afraid to do, I do it. That’s how it is,” Tyson told Sean Hannity on Tuesday night. “I was afraid of the Roy [Jones Jr. fight [in 2020].
“I was 100 pounds overweight, I was however old, 54, 53, and I said ‘Let’s do it.’ Anything I’m afraid of, I confront it. That’s my personality. Right now, I’m scared to death.”

But that’s what pushes Tyson to get back in the ring.
“I always believed that adversity and nervousness pretty much catapulted me into success. If I didn’t have these feelings, I wouldn’t go into this fight. I have to have these feelings to fight. Without them, I would never go in the ring.”
