The significance of the Francis Scott Key Bridge strategically is perhaps the most concerning feature of this disaster. The bridge collapsed, leaving just two options for accessing Baltimore’s port region.

It is not possible for Simiy to reach the other side of the tunnel without going over the collapsed bridge due to height constraints and biohazards.
