After finishing their second straight perfect regular season, South Carolina and head coach Dawn Staley will want to further cement their status as the sport’s contemporary dynasty in the coming weeks. The Gamecocks’ emerging SEC foe LSU will try to win the national championship again and make history by being the first team to win it twice in over ten years.

The First Four games of the women’s 2024 NCAA Tournament will take place on Wednesday, March 20. The Final Four and National Championship are scheduled for April 5 and 7. The location of this year’s Women’s Final Four in Cleveland, Ohio, is Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
On March 17 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, Selection Sunday, the women’s bracket will be unveiled.

The NCAA tournament’s first and second rounds will take place in educational institutions, while Portland, Oregon, and Albany, New York, will host the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight stages.
Although South Carolina will enter as the favourite, we know that anything can happen in March.

On Sunday, March 17, at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, a selection show will reveal the whole field of 68 players for the NCAA women’s basketball championship. The NCAA women’s tournament, like the men’s, consists of 36 at-large teams selected by the tournament selection committee and 32 automatic qualifiers who won their respective conference championships.
