Ava (Simone Johnson), the general manager of NXT and daughter of The Rock, removed her account on X, formerly known as Twitter. In reaction to the bad feedback over The Rock possibly facing Reigns, Ava disclosed over the weekend that she has been receiving death threats, according to Aaron Rift of NoDQ.com.

The Rock was not there at the Royal Rumble, which took place at the end of January and gave Cody Rhodes the opportunity to challenge Roman Reigns to a title match for the main event of Wrestlemania. Despite much rumors to the contrary, The Rock was not there.

That match was supposed to be the conclusion of a tale that had been developing for two years, but things took a turn when The Rock interrupted Friday Night Smackdown last week to declare that he, not Rhodes, would be competing against Reigns for the title of Undisputed WWE Universal Championship belt when the promotion’s inaugural event takes place in Philadelphia in April.

The Rock replacing Cody at Mania has sparked a massive backlash from fans. The business faced criticism from all directions as major media sources detected a contentious story. Of course, The Rock is the talk of the town, and not in a good way.

Ava is not interested in being associated with her father’s scandal. She went on Twitter and X to express her unwavering desire to fulfill her role as General Manager of NXT.

While the majority of pro wrestling fans have refrained from becoming overly upset over this development, there are regrettably many others who take the glorified soap opera a little too seriously to the point where they have chosen to target Simone Johnson, the superstar known as “Ava,” who is the general manager of NXT.

It’s difficult to think that fans’ responses to The Rock’s WWE comeback have been so negative, but that’s where we are right now. Many people wanted Cody Rhodes to complete his tale, but the conditions were not right for this match.
