Olivia Dunne “is one of the most talented gymnasts” According To Her Fans

Following two consecutive absences from meets, Olivia Dunne, a gymnast for the LSU Tigers, made her comeback on Friday night against the seventh-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks. In a turnaround after their defeat at the hands of Missouri the previous week, LSU defeated the Razorbacks.

When LSU won the meet and set a new season-high single-meet score of 198.475 points, they also got to witness one of her most well-liked players in action. Dunne’s score of 9.875, for her part, was equal to the season’s best. It was interesting to note that Dunne had only experienced three events this season.

Fans flocked to X (formerly Twitter) to show their appreciation for Olivia Dunne’s talent and talents as soon as her season-best performance clips went viral.

“She is one of the most talented gymnasts. That was a 10,” one of her fans said.

“So so impressed with her this season,” another one wrote.

The Olympic dream of Olivia Dunne passed away long ago.

The gymnast, who is 21 years old, is in her final year of college and about to leave the campus environment. Fans are speculating as to whether she will compete and represent the US internationally once more at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

On the BFF podcast in 2021, Olivia Dunne talked with Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards, and Brianna Chickenfry about the demise of her Olympic dream.

“That dream has died,” Dunne said. “Well, I got hurt when I was about, I think, 15 or 16 years old.”My bone had died in my ankle, and it fractured, so I kind of realized that maybe this is not for me anymore, and maybe I should just go to college and be healthy and happy.”

Dunne described the elite gymnastics programs as “dysfunctional,” and it may have been one of the contributing factors.

“Also, the elite gymnastics program is pretty dysfunctional. It is an understatement so I kind of decided, Why not go to LSU? And I mean, a lot of my elite friends that I did gymnastics with and stuff, they’re at LSU with me.” [54:10].
