Olivia Dunne’s Sister Julz’s Yearly Income Is Less Than Her Dog’s 1 Brand Deal. Julz Made Fun Of It

Olivia Dunne is a well-known figure in the sports and social media industries. The LSU Tigers gymnast is a lucrative partner for marketers to work with because of her large social media following. It appears that, like Dunne, even her animal buddy Roux is becoming well-known on social media.

Dunne announced a new marketing partnership with her pet on social media. The tweet served as an advertisement for Purina Pro Plana, a pet nutrition brand that the couple has worked with.

“@thatgirlroux runs on @proplan sports,” the gymnast wrote in the caption of her post.

“Am I surprised that the dog got a singular brand deal that pays more than my yearly income? No. Not at all,” Julz said.

Given Olivia’s enormous popularity and, to a lesser extent, that of Roux, well, nobody should be shocked. Over 11.4K people follow the dog on Instagram. That makes for a potent marketing combination that any company would want to pursue, especially when combined with Olivia’s own social media following.

Out of all the offers she receives, Dunne has a straightforward method for selecting the NIL deals she wants to take on, just selecting those that are consistent with her basic principles. During an interview last year, she talked candidly about it.

“Taking your time to pick your brand deals and to be picky, there’s no problem in saying no to brands if it doesn’t feel right to you,”  Olivia Dunne stated in June of the previous year.
