Jared Goff, the quarterback for the Detroit Lions, and his fiancée, Christen Harper, are the perfect example of a contemporary couple.

After initially chatting on a dating app, the NFL player and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model fell in love, and they are currently engaged to be married.

The 31-year-old native of Southern California started modeling at the age of 20 in order to help pay for her college education. She will turn 31 in May 2024.

After being chosen for the publication’s Swimsearch that year, Harper was featured for the first time in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in 2021.

Together with fitness model Katie Austin, the brunette beauty was named Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s Co-Rookie of the Year in 2022 after the two won the Swimsearch the year before.

Harper was on site in Dominica, in the Eastern Caribbean, for the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, where she modeled a number of sensuous bikinis.

In addition to modeling for numerous designers and companies, she is signed with Creative Artists Agency.

Harper Is An Actor As Well

IMDb lists Harper as the lead actor in the 2019 sci-fi movie “Auggie,” where she played the AI sidekick to Richard Kind’s Felix Greystone.

In the 2019 drama “The Obituary of Tunde Johnson,” she portrayed Caroline in the same year.

In addition, Harper made an appearance in one episode of HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” which followed Goff’s previous team, the Los Angeles Rams, in August 2020, and one episode of “Entourage,” both from 2006.

During the offseason, Harper went to the golf course with Goff, who was then in his fourth season with the Rams.

“Literally, he picked me up and I was like ‘Oh shoot, dang it, he got me,’” she said. “From that moment on, we just talked every day since then. Now it’s been almost four years.”

A month before the Rams played the New England Patriots and Tom Brady in Super Bowl LIII, Harper and Goff were first connected in January 2019. 13-3 was the Rams’ defeat.

With the release of a picture of herself arriving at the Atlanta Super Bowl in February of that year, she officially acknowledged their connection.

They became engaged in 2022, she and Goff.

June of 2022 saw Goff make a proposal to Harper.

“Still on cloud 9 from the best weekend of my life,” She shared pictures of her gorgeous oval-cut engagement diamond along with her writing at the time on Instagram.

She enjoys volunteering.

According to Sports Illustrated, Harper devotes her time to volunteering with Girls Inc., Forgotten Harvest, and Farm Sanctuary.

Through lessons on self-esteem and positivism at the Detroit Lions Academy, the model also serves as a mentor for young females in collaboration with the Pure Heart Foundation.

Christan also has an application.

Model and UCLA psychologist Elizabeth Turner and Harper collaborated to create the app Planted, which offers a network and resource to “support your mind, body, and soul.”

In addition to being an advocate for Only One, an action platform for the planet, she is deeply committed to eating a plant-based diet.

She is Goff’s greatest admirer.

The model has been a part of Goff’s NFL career for a long time. It was involved in his January 2021 trade from the Rams to the Lions, where Los Angeles acquired Matthew Stafford, the quarterback for Detroit at the time.
