Kirk Cousins Visits College Class, Manages To Get Two Students Extra Credit

On Friday, Kirk Cousins visited a college classroom, and two students received additional credit for the visit.

Thought to have seen the Minnesota Vikings quarterback on campus, two students at Hope College in Holland, Michigan, where Cousins is undergoing physical rehabilitation for a damaged Achilles tendon, claimed to have seen him. If they could bring Cousins inside the classroom, their instructor promised them additional credit, and they did just that.

The pupils received extra credit when their cousins transported them to the university and spoke to the class as a whole.

The four-time Pro Bowler has been recovering from his Achilles tendon tear at Hope College in Holland, Michigan, the location where he excelled as a high school athlete. The injury occurred in the fourth quarter of a Week 8 game against the Packers.

Following several physical treatment sessions, Cousins got to know two Hope students. When they requested him to visit their sports communication class, Cousins, 35, kindly agreed.

The school documented the visit to Professor Patrick Gentile’s lesson on X in a post.

In a Friday morning social media post, cousins—who attended the city’s Holland Christian High School for their high school football—explained the circumstances.

“Two students stopped me after my (physical therapy) session @ Hope…told me they’d get extra credit if I showed up to class so I had to stop by,” Cousins posted. “Professor Gentile, thanks for having me, but now I’m holding you to that extra credit!”

In order to get ready for his 13th NFL season, Cousins hopes to recuperate quickly. Before being hurt this season, he completed eight games with 2,331 yards, 18 touchdowns, and five interceptions via the air.

The Vikings are hoping to improve upon their poor 7–10 campaign this year in the upcoming season. The first step in doing that is assessing the quarterback position, since there may be a significant gap to be filled.

After the season, his contract ended, making him a free agent and able to pursue other opportunities if he so desires.
