Micah Hyde’s Wife Amanda Received A Heartwarming Message By Jordan Poyer’s Wife Rachel Bush

After meeting Amanda Hyde in Buffalo, Rachel Bush is “forever” grateful that their paths intersected.

The wife of fellow Buffalo safety Micah Hyde, who is about to become a free agent, Amanda, received a heartfelt message from Bush on her Instagram Stories on Monday. Bush is married to Bills safety Jordan Poyer.

Bush captioned a photo of what seemed to be a postgame embrace with the words “Since 2017,”

“Love you forever ever!! @amandahyde_.”

A day prior, the Bills had lost badly to the Chiefs in Orchard Park, 27-24 in the divisional round.

Due to Hyde’s expiring deal, there are lingering concerns regarding his future as the Bills head into the summer.

“I’m going to sit down, maybe in a couple weeks or something, and talk to the wife and talk to the family. But we’ll see. I’m in no rush, no rush at all,”  The Buffalo News quoted Hyde as saying.

Hyde, who has been married to Amanda since 2018, sustained a neck injury in Week 2 that kept him out of the game for a large portion of 2022. In October 2022, a successful surgical procedure was performed to treat a herniated disc in his neck.

Hyde participated in all 14 of the Bills’ games, but he lost time in the second half due to stingers, even though he started the first eight games of the season.

“It was a battle each and every week to get back on that field on Sundays. A neck injury coming off the surgery. I was good until about halfway, and then the stingers started acting up. It wasn’t fun. It was a little pain. It was painful. I think I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that,” Hyde said.

“There was a few times this year I had no idea if I was going to be back out there.”

In spite of how the season ended, Hyde is incredibly appreciative of the Bills organization and all that they have managed to do.

“My options are open. I love this organization. I love everything we were able to accomplish. I woke up this morning and I saw the light. I reflected and thought of all the memories we’ve had around here. Yeah, we came up short yesterday, and all that. But that doesn’t take away from all the things we accomplished over the years.”

Poyer, like Hyde, signed a contract with the Bills in 2017 and has been a member of the organization ever since. In March of last year, he inked a two-year contract extension.

“We had planned when we came in here that we really wanted to change this culture, change this organization into a winning program and you could argue and say that we have,” According to Poyer, Sunday postgame.

“I mean, we’ve gone to the playoffs the last six out of the seven years out here and that’s an accomplishment in itself. Obviously, you want to win the Super Bowl, but prior to us being here, I mean a lot of guys being here in Buffalo hadn’t gone to the playoffs in 17 years.”

Poyer and Hyde both mentioned how their relationship beyond the field.

“He’s my brother, man. My teammate, my right-hand man,” Regarding Hyde, Poyer observed, “We’re forever indebted to each other.”
