The co-host of “First Take” has grown to be a major favorite among sports fans because she appears regularly on the show and usually provides shrewd comments. Since July of 2015, when she replaced Cari Champion, it has been nearly nine years.

Molly and Stephen A. Smith have been a constant presence in the lives of sports fans for some time now. Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe, who joined ESPN last year and hosts two weekly segments on “First Take,” is another collaborator they have recently added.

She has been in the news a lot lately, whether it’s due to Stephen A’s offensive remarks or her obscenely fashionable attire.

The host of ESPN’s First Take, Molly Qerim is an American journalist. NFL AM, the NFL Network’s weekday morning program, and NFL Fantasy Live were previously hosted by her.

Qerim started her career as a news presenter and correspondent for the CBS Sports Network.

As a studio anchor, she presented several shows including SEC Tonight, Full Court Press, Bracket Breakdown, MaxPreps Lemming Report, and SEC Tailgate Show.

Qerim hosted College Football Live on ESPN and ESPN2 in 2008 and served as its interactive host. Additionally, she covered breaking news for ESPN2’s Fantasy Football Now, for which she received an Emmy for her work. She was also an ESPNU co-host of Campus Connection.

On September 15, 2015, she was elevated to the position of First Take’s permanent host.
