Aaron Rodgers Encouraged Jordan Love Before Bears-Packers Game

Prior to participating in the most significant match of his short NFL career on Sunday, quarterback Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers received a supportive letter from a former mentor.

Aaron Rodgers Encouraged Jordan Love Before Bears-Packers Game

Love and the Packers needed only to defeat the Chicago Bears in Week 18 to guarantee a postseason berth. Love revealed to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer that he received a text from Aaron Rodgers before the game, which turned out to be a little additional motivation.

Like last season, the Packers were up against a division opponent and faced with a win-and-get-in scenario. With 3:34 remaining in the fourth quarter of the previous season, on January 8, Aaron Rodgers threw an interception that ruined both Green Bay’s season and his career. Detroit won that game, 20-16.

This season, Green Bay defeated the Chicago Bears 17–9, with quarterback Jordan Love leading the team.

They’re in now that they prevailed. Next Sunday, the Packers take on Mike McCarthy, an old buddy, and the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC wild-card game.

With no contact, Love completed 27 of 32 throws for 316 yards and two scores against Chicago, displaying incredible skill. Paradoxically, though, Rodgers could have given him a little assistance. If nothing else, the four-time MVP and potential Hall of Famer, who is currently with the New York Jets, gave him some hope.

Love told Breer, “It was just a little something.”

What, then, was that little item? The inscription said, “Go beat the Bears.”

And Love did just that. The Packers won 17–9 because to his outstanding performance, which included 27 of 32 passes for 316 yards and two touchdowns.

“Go beat the Bears.”

Rodgers has experience against Chicago. Over 18 seasons, he went 24-5 versus Chicago, and it appears that he gave Love “ownership” of the team.

As a starter versus the Bears, Love is presently 2-0.

Does Jordan Love have a gf?

Is this Jordan Love’s first season?

On Sunday at Lambeau Field, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love wrapped up an amazing rookie campaign as the starting quarterback with a performance that may rank as the greatest of his brief professional football career, considering the circumstances.
