Hours After DM Leak, Former MLB Star Aubrey Huff Leaves X

Beginning in 2024, Aubrey Huff, a former MLB player, will be sitting on the social media bench.

The 23-year-old right-wing political activist Isabella Maria DeLuca called Huff out on X after he allegedly sent her a lewd message and then disparaged her in another post. Huff, a two-time World Series champion with the San Francisco Giants who retired in 2014, canceled his account.

The conflict arose when Huff commented on what appeared to be a falling out between DeLuca and Rachel Wilson, also known on X as “Rach4Patriarchy.” Wilson also brought up DeLuca’s involvement in a cake-making video that she had posted back in October.

In a since-deleted post on X that later surfaced in a screenshot on the social media platform, Huff referred to the conflict between DeLuca and Wilson as a “cat fight.”

“[It’s] proof that most today’s women even know… their sexuality is all they bring to the table,” Wilson denied “hating” on DeLuca, according to what Huff allegedly said in a reply post.

“Complete with a desperate need for attention, crippling debt, drama, delusional self worth, & a complete lack of accountability.”

In the post, Huff also mentioned Wilson and DeLuca.

That’s when DeLuca entered the picture.

“Is that why you dm’ed me? Because of my ‘delusional self worth’ and ‘desperate need for attention’?” In response to Huff’s purportedly deleted post, DeLuca responded.

Then, on December 25, DeLuca shared a screenshot of a message she claimed to have received from Huff’s verified account on X. It said, “Hey beautiful let’s Colab [collaborate] over cocktails and bad decisions,” including a winking face emoji.

“This you?” DeLuca stated in her blog post.

When Huff’s X account, @aubrey_huff, was searched on the Elon Musk-led app, it returned the message “doesn’t exist.”

“Because I didn’t want to make ‘bad decisions’ with you on Christmas morning?”

Along with the bio, DeLuca also posted a screen grab from Huff’s MLB.com page, which shows that the couple were married on January 27, 2007, and that they had two boys, Jagger, 13, and Jayce, 15, together.

2017 saw the alleged divorce of Huff, 47, and Heaton.

Oh my! I get why you removed it. DeLuca penned, “You’re married!”

Huff “deleted his whole [X] account,” DeLuca continued, referring to both his original post and everything else.

Instagram followers number 121,000 for DeLuca, and as of Wednesday, her account is private.

325,700 people follow her public X account.
