NFL Star Terry McLaurin Got Engaged To His Long-Term Girlfriend Caitlin Winfrey.

Terry McLaurin announced his engagement to longtime love Caitlin Winfrey on Instagram on Saturday, one day before he and the Commanders were defeated by the Jets on Christmas Eve.

As Winfrey revealed her new ring, McLaurin, 28, said, “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with the person who has my heart.” “Caitlin, I thank God for granting me favor and bringing our journey’s together. I am so excited to see what he has in store for us as we navigate this life hand and hand.”

At The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory, McLaurin proposed to Winfrey. After that, the two posed for pictures; he posted two of them, one of which showed the couple entering a boat and the other of which showed them at sunset.

“Wherever you are, that’s where home is, and I feel most like myself.” He concluded the Instagram comment with a heart emoji and said, “I love you.”

According to The Athletic in 2022, the two met at Indianapolis’ Cathedral High School, where McLaurin played on four state championship teams before deciding to commit to Ohio State as a Class of 2014 recruit.

People.com claims that McLaurin has discussed the significance of his relationship with Winfrey in previous Instagram posts.

In March, Terry McLaurin tweeted on how Winfrey “can light up any room you walk into with your infectious personality,” and in 2022, he paid tribute to her on her birthday by saying that she had made him “better because of you.”

The Indianapolis native McLaurin was selected in the third round of the 2019 draft. He has exceeded 1,000 yards in each of the last three seasons, and with two games left in 2023, he needs 115 yards to do so once more.

In July 2022, he committed to a three-year contract worth $71 million, securing his position as the Commanders’ top receiving option through the end of the 2025 campaign.

McLaurin caught three receptions on five targets for fifty yards in Washington’s 30-28 loss against the Jets. In the third quarter, the Commanders benched starter Sam Howell in favor of Jacoby Brissett.
