Shohei Ohtani Turns Santa For Dodgers’ Joe Kelly’s Wife on Christmas and Gifts His Porsche

After that teammate gave up his number for the MLB ace, Shohei Ohtani gave a Porsche to the wife of his Los Angeles Dodgers colleague.

The wife of teammate pitcher Joe Kelly was treated to a portion of the 700 million dollar contract inked by the Japanese star, who later chose to postpone part of it.

As Kelly will now wear the number 99 shirt, the former American League player showed gratitude to the two for helping to lure him to sign at Dodger Stadium and for letting him keep his number 17 uniform.

It belongs to you. Kelly’s wife is informed via a video that the official Dodgers account uploaded to Twitter, now known as X, It’s yours. From Shohei.” “He wanted to gift you a Porsche. I swear.”

Shohei Ohtani plays well in a group.

With this gesture as well as his choice to only take home $2 million of his $700 million contract annually, Ohtani is already demonstrating his desire to fit in and be a team player for the team.

In order to recruit more talent to the team—Yoshinobu Yamamoto may have already done so—the Dodgers will be able to retain their spending power for the remainder of their squad.

Following interest from the San Francisco Giants and New York Yankees, Yamamoto, a fellow product of the Nippon Professional Baseball league in their home Japan, inked a 12-year contract worth 27 million dollars annually with the Dodgers.
