According to reports, Australian soccer players really like Sydney Sweeney. It seems she is their favorite.
While filming her new comedy “Anyone But You” in the home of Fosters beer and kangaroos, Sweeney made time to play a little soccer. Why not? You might as well see some activity on the field while you’re in a foreign country.
“I had a lot of questions. Physical of all, why are the shorts so short? I had a blast. I got to meet everybody. I want to go back.” When discussing getting some action in person, Sweeney said to Channel 10 in Australia, “I want to go back.”

But Glen Powell, her co-star and the great “Top Gun: Maverick,” swiftly exposed her for getting DM’d by a whole soccer squad.
“Well, they had a good time meeting Sydney as well. The whole team slid into her DMs it was … Australia wanted to welcome her to town … very fast,” In the interview, Powell disclosed to the media.
The whole soccer team is said to have DM’d Sydney Sweeney.

A whole squad, people! She seemed to have DM’d the entire roster. Do we believe that was a concerted effort, or did each person act on their own initiative?
If this is the first option, it’s hilarious. Maybe I should ask some additional questions about the second choice. Powell’s revelation coincides with Sweeney’s assertion that she was also hit in the direct message by a Gonzaga basketball player.
