UFC Star Colby Covington Slams Lebron James For His Unethical Ways Of Making Money

Being a superstar attracts millions of eyeballs to every move, demanding perfection. However, LeBron James recently courted controversy by casually walking into the basketball arena while the National Anthem played and taking a seat. This ignited a huge uproar about him disrespecting the country.

UFC Star Colby Covington Slams Lebron James For His Unethical Ways Of Making Money

Now, one of the best trash talkers in the UFC, Colby Covington has taken aim at LeBron James. He passionately addressed this issue and suggested James leave the country and go to China.

Despite “Chaos” first focusing on “Rocky,” Covington targeted Lebron James, whom he had previously publicly criticized.

However, seemingly unrelated to anything in this specific case, Covington stated,

“If you hate America so much and you don’t like this country that gave you a billion dollars, leave it or come deal with me. Go to China, go to the sweatshops where you employ all these labourers.”

“Use these women and pay them pennies on the dollar to make your millions. F*ck you, Lebron James, you’re a coward. You’re a spineless coward and you’re a b****.”

To put things in perspective, LBJ was present during his son Bronny’s first appearance following a cardiac arrest. Regretfully, he happened to arrive during the playing of the national anthem.

Instead of stopping, he kept walking in and found a seat. James had severe blowback as a result of this incident, which was caught on tape, and became viral online.

“Chaos” last made an appearance in the UFC more than a year and a half ago. His last encounter took place at UFC 272 when he lost to Jorge Masvidal. In the midst of thanking police enforcement and the armed forces, Colby Covington publicly attacked LeBron James, calling him a coward. He says,

“I want to say a big thank you to the real heroes and celebrities in this country. Not that woke, spineless coward like LeBron James. I’m talking about our heroes, law enforcement, the military, our first responders. God bless you, God bless you all. God bless America.

Who did Colby Covington lose his title to?

On December 15, at UFC 296 in the United States, he will get the chance to challenge Leon Edwards for the UFC welterweight championship. “Chaos” suffered defeats to Kamaru Usman in two welterweight title bouts. In 2019, after a fierce battle, Covington was defeated by TKO in the fifth round at UFC 245.

What is Colby Covington’s fighting style?

Although Colby Covington’s trash talk is his most well-known trait, he possesses some exceptional octagon talents. Covington can work at a fast tempo and has good cardio, which enables him to attack opponents continuously by combining clinch and distance blows with his wrestling.

What ranking is Colby Covington?

He is ranked #3 in the UFC welterweight rankings as of October 24, 2023.
