Yankees Pitcher Nestor Cortes Jr. Got Married To fiancée Alondra Russy In “An unforgettable night.”

According to Instagram pictures, Yankees pitcher Nestor Cortes Jr. tied the knot with fiancée Alondra Russy over the weekend in Miami, with a few of his past and current teammates in attendance.

In group shots that Cristina Barnea, the free-agent relief pitcher Aroldis Chapman’s partner and former Yankee player from 2017 to 2022, shared, the newlyweds could be seen grinning.

Right fielder Giancarlo Stanton was among the pictures, along with Yankee’s first baseman Anthony Rizzo and his wife Emily Rizzo, free agent pitcher Luis Severino and his wife Rosmaly Severino, shortstop Gleyber Torres and his girlfriend Elizabeth Rodriguez, free agent third baseman Josh Donaldson and his fiancée Briana Miller, and free agent third baseman Gio Urshela and his wife Danna Urshela.

The guests at the wedding donned black, while the newlyweds wore white.

According to pictures on social media, Cortes and Russy exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony surrounded by candles, palm trees, and a white floral arch.

El Chulo, a musician from Cuba, gave a performance at the ceremony along with violinists.

Rodriguez posted on Instagram, saying, “Everything is FUNNIER when you’re with your friends,” while Barnea commented, “An unforgettable night.”

At the conclusion of the season, Cortes revealed that he and Russy intended to tie the knot in Miami and spend their honeymoon in Puerto Rico.

During MLB All-Star Weekend in July 2022, Cortes made a proposal to Russy.
