According to The Sun, Araceli Torrado, 29, filed the accusation against Nalbandian, 41, and included a video of herself finding what she claims to be an Argentinean-installed camera.

Since the pair shared the residence, the placement of the camera—which a court determined was done by Nalbandian—is not illegal.

However, following their breakup, Torrado, 29, is now suing him for stalking and harassment.

The accusation against the 41-year-old former tennis player was submitted by Araceli Torrado, who also supplied a video that showed the camera.

A judge decided that although Nalbandian and Torrado shared the flat, it is not illegal for him to have placed the video equipment inside.

The Daily Mail claims that the couple was together from September 2022 until June 2023.

As reported by c5n.com, Nalbandian acknowledged to Torrado that he had installed the camera.

“It seems pathetic to me that you are not able to admit this to me. I found the camera..,” Torrado said.

“What I’m worried about is being on good terms with you and I want to find a way to do it,” Nalbandian replied.

“Do you want me to be honest?” he said later. Yes, I put it on that day. I couldn’t see it because I don’t know what the internet is like, you can’t see it, so I didn’t see anything at all.”

Torrado responded on social media on Wednesday, posting: “In light of the questions I receive about the events of which I was a victim and whose author was David Nalbandian, I want to inform you that I am filing a criminal case and the corresponding civil legal proceedings. thanks for the support.”

Nalbandian rose to a career-high position of No. 3 in the world.
