“Travis Kelce Is Not As Focused,” Said Stugotz After Losing Chiefs Vs Eagles Game. Is Taylor The Reason?

It looks like a storm is about to break for Travis Kelce’s Taylor Swift procession.

According to Jon “Stugotz” Weiner, who made a conjecture on Tuesday on “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz,” Chiefs supporters would become enraged with the star tight end in the event that Kansas City’s 7-3 season takes a turn for the worse.

“I’ve got a message for Travis Kelce, Dan, because he’s a friend of mine, and I am telling you right now, he doesn’t know this is going to happen but it’s about to happen. They lose more games, OK, he has a drop, he has a big fumble in that game last night, big turnover … and Chiefs fans, they’re going to start doubting Travis Kelce,” Stugotz said.

“If they lose a couple of more games, they’re going to start to say that Travis Kelce is not as focused as he’s been in years past, he is more focused on his relationship with Taylor Swift, he is more focused on doing his podcast with Jason Kelce.”

The Eagles defeated the Chiefs 21-17 on “Monday Night Football” to exact their Super Bowl 2023 retribution.

A fumble in the red zone and a dropped throw were among Kelce’s poor performance, which has been the subject of much media attention due to his high-profile romance with Swift.

“I’m not playing my best football right now. It’s pissing me off every f–king time I go out there,” On the episode of his podcast “New Heights” that aired on Wednesday, Kelce revealed that he co-hosts with his older brother Jason, an elite center for the Eagles.

The eight-time Pro Bowler had seven receptions for 44 yards at the end of the game, including one touchdown in the first half.

Stugotz warned that Kelce would eventually find himself targeted by an ardent fan base, even though the Chiefs are still a top-two seed in the AFC playoff race.

“Dan, I’m telling you it’s coming. Chiefs fans are going to come down on him on sports radio,” Stugotz said. “… He doesn’t see it coming, he’s new to the game but I’m telling him right now, it’s going to come.”

In case an outpouring of criticism is predicted, Stugotz reaffirmed in a different post on Tuesday that he is not taking a stand against Kelce, 34, but is rather  “trying to help a friend out.”

“To be clear, these are not my words, these are the future words of Chiefs fans if this continues. Just trying to help a friend out. Love you @tkelce,” Stugotz said on X.

In a recently published profile with WSJ Magazine, Kelce discussed the increased attention that comes with being in Swift’s sphere.

“Obviously I’ve never dated anyone with that kind of aura about them…. I’ve never dealt with it,” Kelce said.

“But at the same time, I’m not running away from any of it…. The scrutiny she gets, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life. When she acts like that I better not be the one acting all strange.”

In September, Kelce and Swift were initially connected to the public.

The NFL player made an effort to get together with Swift, 33, during her “Eras Tour” stop in Kansas City this past summer. He wanted to gift her a friendship bracelet that had his phone number on it.
