Taylor Swift’s Changed ‘Karma’s’ Lyrics Shocked Her ‘Lover’ Travis Kelce. Jason Discussed It On His Podcast

During Taylor Swift’s performance on Saturday night in Buenos Aires, Travis Kelce finally addressed the lyric alteration. With a quick edit of one of her song “Karma,” the singer pointed to the player standing in the VIP area off to the side of the stage and changed the lyrics to “that guy in the Chiefs,” sending the crowd into a frenzy.

It goes without saying that Travis’ brother Jason brought up the incident on their most recent “New Heights” podcast. “How does it feel to officially be ‘the guy on the Chiefs?'” was the question of Jason.

As it happens, Travis was unaware that it was going to happen, as he said: “I had no clue. Well, I might have had a little bit of a clue, but definitely when I heard it come out of her mouth, it still shocked me. It was like, ‘Oh, she really just said that”” explained Kelce in the episode that aired on Wednesday.

On camera was Travis’ response to his new girlfriend’s surprise. The Chiefs player placed his hands on his head in utter shock before breaking into some amazing dancing movements in what appeared to be a small celebration.

Travis Kelce happened to be standing next to none other than Scott, Swift’s father. As his daughter sang the new line, Scott really turned to offer Kelce a high five; however, the NFL player unintentionally disregarded him, for which he has since apologized. Swift jumped into her new man’s arms as soon as she exited the stage and went to greet him.
