NFL Week 10 Weather Forecast: Mostly Clear Sky?

When it comes to the weather, last week was practically perfect for fantasy football owners, and this Sunday, November 2nd, is no different. The NFL weather forecast for Week 10 calls for a little bit more wind and rain, but it’s unlikely to have a significant impact on start/sit choices. Thankfully, meteorologist Kevin Roth from RotoGrinders is here to assist us in analyzing all the important weather reports prior to fantasy football owners locking in their lineups.

Before we go into the Week 10 projections, let me just remind you to feel free to contact RotoGrinders’ meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter with any questions you may have regarding sports weather or how it could affect play (and, perhaps, your fantasy, DFS, and gambling selections).

Most of the projections for Week 9 came true, with the Dolphins and Chiefs game in Germany taking place beneath a covered roof to avoid wind and rain. The Packers versus. Rams game featured the only severe weather, with both offenses struggling to 23 points overall and the game being a cakewalk in the wet circumstances.

Remember that these projections might alter at any time. As the week goes on, keep an eye out for potentially significant circumstances to watch if projections change.

NFL Week 10 Weather Forecast: Mostly Clear Sky?

Panthers vs Bears

Chicago often experiences wind and chilly in November, and those are the exact conditions these two teams should expect from Thursday Night Football odds. This matchup between two offenses that struggle to move the rock in favorable circumstances should come as no surprise given the total, which points to a low-scoring game. It’s difficult to interpret any early line changes because moves will probably be dictated more by the Bears quarterback situation than by the weather.

NFL Weather: 36 F, 1% chance of precipitation, winds 10 to 15 mph

49ers vs Jaguars

It looks like a fairly normal forecast for rainy Florida. Should the unpredictable weather materialize, expect the coaches to rely more on their rushing assaults because both of these teams can be rather run-heavy at times in favorable conditions (both rank in the top eight in rushing rate).

NFL Weather: 73 F, 38% chance of precipitation, winds 10 to 15 mph

Titans vs Tampa Bay

This time of year, scorching heat is usually not an issue. However, it seems like a short heatwave with highs in the upper 80s is headed for the Tampa region this week. Tennessee should have plenty of gas in the tank and is coming in with additional rest, but in this hot heat, conditioning might be a problem for those who are not prepared. We could witness some late scoring if defenders are worn out.

Although Tampa’s poor defensive effort against Houston may have been the primary cause of a line adjustment, the market seems to have seen it that way. The number rocketed from 38 to 39.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook before settling back in the middle.

NFL Weather: 87 F, 18% chance of precipitation, 5 to 10 mph winds

Commanders vs Seahawks

The Seahawks will face Washington at home in potentially wet conditions following their lackluster performance against Baltimore. The Commanders, who rank bottom in rushing rate, have gotten a lot of mileage out of their passing attack. They may so fare slightly worse in the weather than Seattle.

NFL Weather: 53 F, 41% chance of precipitation, winds 5 to 10 mph

Broncos vs Bills

Although Buffalo’s snow season isn’t quite here yet, we’re still keeping an eye out. This will probably simply be your average cold weather game with no special effects from snow or wind. However, it’s important to monitor this one in case conditions worsen due to the near-freezing temperatures and a non-trivial risk of precipitation in the early forecast.

NFL Weather: 36 F, 19% chance of precipitation, winds 5 to 10 mph
