Thompson was taken into custody by the Johnson Parish Sheriff’s Office in June. He is dating Nina Thomas, who filed for divorce from Earl in 2020, a few months after she allegedly held the former Seahawks star at gunpoint due to infidelity.
They continued to have run-ins; in one instance, officials ordered him to keep at least 400 feet away from her after they were said to have flashed firearms at one other in a parking lot.
In 2022, Earl broke a restraining order against Nina, which led to the issuance of an arrest warrant for the “Legion of Boom” mainstay.
