Court records state that Ross was “upset” by what he discovered on his girlfriend’s phone. He got in her face, started shouting, and instructed her to leave their flat as soon as he saw her phone.

According to the court filing, Ross also shoved and threw his girlfriend to the ground. Then he hurled many objects at her. The girlfriend’s hand had a mark on it, authorities said.

Ross allegedly smashed many things, including the girlfriend’s Mercedes key, a laptop, a phone, and jewellery.

She said that he had used scissors to scuff the side of her Mercedes. It was confirmed by the officers that her automobile had new marks.

According to The Star, Ross informed police that he got angry when he realized the victim was having an affair.

“Justyn said, ‘I just found it, started putting her stuff out, throwing her stuff out the door,'” says the affidavit.

Per the affidavit obtained by The Star, Ross’s grandma informed the police that Ross found out his girlfriend was cheating on him and shoved her aside. According to Cronkleton and Newell’s assessment, an offence record from the Shawnee Police Department states that the accused victim had minor injuries, but it makes no mention of any particular injuries.

On October 24, Ross entered a not-guilty plea to the accusations against him. His next court date is December 4.

While Ross continued to train with the club on October 25, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid stated that the team was “taking in all the information” following his arrest. Ross was put on the Commissioner’s Exempt List by the NFL on October 27. Until the league makes a further judgment, he is not permitted to practice with the club or attend games.
