After Watching Games With Donna, Taylor Swift Had A Conversation With Travis Kelce’s Dad, Travis Later Said His Father Is “The Best F–king Dad In The World.”

There was a recent lighthearted discussion between Travis Kelce and his brother Jason on their father’s relationship with Taylor Swift. Ed Kelce, the father of Travis and Jason, had the chance to talk with the Grammy winner during the Kansas City Chiefs game on October 12.

Thinking back on the incident, Travis humorously voiced concern for Taylor during their October 18 New Heights podcast episode, stating: “Yeah, Taylor talking to dad… I felt terrible for Taylor for being in this.” In response, Jason said, “He shouldn’t be talking to Taylor Swift.” While they laughed together, the brothers also acknowledged their father, Travis referring to him as “the best f–king dad in the world.”

Travis and Jason were happy to see their dad get his time, even though their mother, Donna Kelce, has drawn notoriety for her interactions with Taylor when she makes appearances in the NFL. Regarding his father’s apparent interest in Taylor Swift’s music, Travis made a joke, stating: “You can see in this picture all he’s doing is just pumping her up… He’s started listening to her music a little more.”

Jason chuckled and said, “Bless his heart. He said, ‘Now I’ve taken all of your CDs out at the local library, and I’ve burned them onto my computer.’ Because that is legal, as a taxpaying citizen.”

The October 12 game versus the Denver Broncos held great significance as it took place just a few days before Travis and Taylor made their relationship public in New York City. This was Taylor’s third time attending a Kansas City Chiefs game; she had previously attended wins against the Chicago Bears in September and the New York Jets in early October.

Travis is not phased by the media attention that has been surrounding Taylor’s attendance at these games. On October 6, he made remarks during a press conference, “As all the attention comes, it feels like I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl-and right now, even more on top of the world… You’ve got a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for good reason.”
