The lower bowl was mostly filled with spectators who took advantage of the free tickets, with additional spectators dispersed around the top sections.

The defending NBA champions made the decision to use a portion of their open practice to meet their supporters.

Tyson Hunter and Julian Strawther, who were both rookies, were given mics and instructed to perform their best Britney Spears impersonations.

With some minor rookie hazing, the festivities came to a conclusion. While Jalen Pickett and a teammate sang “Let It Go” from the Disney musical “Frozen,” Hunter Tyson and Julian Strawther were forced to sing the Britney Spears hit “Oops!… I Did It Again.” Last year, Christian Braun was forced to spend the entire season wearing a rucksack with a Frozen motif.

Strawther continued to perform well on the court, but his vocal delivery left a little to be desired. After scoring 20 and 16 points in Denver’s first two exhibition games, Strawther stood out during a brief scrimmage as one of the top players.

Young players have plenty of chance to shine because neither starters nor seasoned veterans participated. The best part of Strawther’s night was a wild 3-point make that would’ve been a four-point play in any other setting.

Although she has been known to follow the NBA, she usually prefers Victor Wembanyama.

Although we give these guys props for trying, this was by far not the finest amateur singing we’ve ever heard. Although the surface was all over the place, both men did a good job of playing to the fans.

An open practice resembled an All-Star Game in terms of showing Nikola Jokic’s unique qualities. While not participating in the scrimmage, the Finals Most Valuable Player gave the crowd something to shout about during some 5-on-0 drills by capping off one run with a quick dunk. Jokic sprinted back down court while grinning widely as the fans cheered.

Jokic and Aaron Gordon worked together to coach one squad because he didn’t participate in the scrimmage, while Jamal Murray and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led the other.

The Denver Nuggets’ goal is to win the championship again, and both newcomers hope to aid them. Tyson, a forward from Clemson, was chosen 37th overall in the second round. Stawther, a guard from Gonzaga, was chosen 29th overall in the first round.
