Taylor Swift’s NFL Mania Reaches New York as Ticket Prices Skyrocket For Jets vs Chiefs Showdown Amid Travis Kelce Rumors

As the NFL celebrates the romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, demand for tickets to Sunday’s Jets-Chiefs game is surging.

The 12-time Grammy Award winner announced on Wednesday that she would put the two-time Super Bowl champion tight end and their burgeoning romance on display for all to see this Sunday when the Jets and Chiefs square off during the nationally televised broadcast of “Sunday Night Football.”

‘More than double’

From 7 to 10 p.m. ET on Wednesday, the period following the announcement that Swift would attend the game, ticket sales for the Chiefs-Jets game increased, according to a Gametime representative who spoke with The Post.

Increasing from $428.70 to $627.20 before leveling out, the average ticket price increased by 46.3%.

Swift’s participation at the Chiefs game was verified on Wednesday, and after that, uStadium and StubHub said that the Jets “sold more than double the amount of tickets in a single day than any other day this season.”

Billboard

A short search online on Thursday afternoon found that tickets for the Chiefs-Jets game on StubHub are selling for as little as $106 and as much as $8,729 each.

Similar ranges were available from $117 to $10,543 at Ticketmaster.

Swift can undoubtedly afford those costs, but it’s likely that she’ll receive VIP treatment at MetLife Stadium, just as she did last Sunday when she attended the Bears-Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium. Swift and his mother Donna attended the game in Kelce’s suite, which was made available to him.

It is unknown, though, whether Travis Kelce’s contract also grants him access to a suite while traveling.

The Suite Experience Group reports that all suites for the Chiefs-Jets game are sold out, so someone in power will probably have to bend some rules to make room for Swift.

It’s a safe bet that the NFL will find a place for Swift to attend the prime-time game given the number of eyes that will be tuned to the game on Sunday.

Depending on the box, suites at MetLife Stadium can accommodate anywhere between 12 and 30 people.

The suites are completely stocked with catered food, beverages, and alcohol. They frequently also come with VIP parking tickets.

Swift will return to MetLife Stadium later this year. As part of her Eras Tour, she performed there three times before a packed house in May.

The Swift effect will last long beyond the game on Sunday.

game time stats Following Swift’s visit last week, ticket sales for Kansas City home games on Stubhub tripled.

The Chiefs will play the Minnesota Vikings on the road in Week 5 before traveling to East Rutherford. On Oct. 12, Kansas City will host the Denver Broncos in a game that will be broadcast nationally on “Thursday Night Football.”
