NFL Insider: Davante Adams Trade To Cowboys Would Be The Wise

Davante Adams, the premier receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders, is currently dissatisfied with the Raiders organization. He has stated that his teammates lack the will to win and that the ownership is corrupt behind closed doors. That being said, if the standout receiver were to depart the team or seek a trade, these are the top five suitors that would be a good match for him.

NFL Insider: Davante Adams Trade To Cowboys Would Be The Wise

Focused on the Packers Peter Bukowski suggested that the Las Vegas Raiders move wide receiver Davante Adams, who made headlines after the Raiders’ 23-18 Week 3 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The line that stood out the most was Adams’s:

“I don’t get time to wait around,” said Adams, whose mega-effort against the Steelers produced 13 receptions for 172 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

This would almost certainly ensure the Cowboys the NFC East, if not the entire league. With the addition of Adams to the Dallas receiving corps, as well as Ceedee Lamb, and Dak Prescott throwing the ball better than ever, this offense would frighten any defense they faced. This is the Cowboys’ greatest chance for a Super Bowl run.

Packers insider Peter Bukowski voiced his wish to see Adams reunited with Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy on Twitter/X:

“Don’t kill me. The #Packers aren’t winning the Super Bowl this year. Aaron Rodgers has struck fear into Cowboys hearts for a decade. They aren’t the evil empire anymore. Let Tae go win a ring with Mike McCarthy. It would be legitimately really cool.”

The Cowboys already have a good offence, but bringing in the Raiders’ best receiver would take them to the next level.

On most plays, the Cowboys have CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks, and Michael Gallup out wide. Tony Pollard is the team’s leading back at running back.

The addition of Adams would provide instant competition for the top starting spot at wide receiver, but with the season already underway, Lamb would most likely maintain starting responsibilities first.
