MLB Star, Noah Syndergaard Got Teased By His Ex Alex Cooper On His Career
Alex Cooper, a former host of the Barstool Sports podcast, took a jab at her ex, free agency MLB pitcher Noah Syndergaard, saying she thinks he’s about to leave the sport.
During the “Call Her Daddy” podcast’s season 4 debut, Cooper and TikTok phenom Alix Earle were talking about their former Major League Baseball players when Earle recalled how her ex, Tyler Wade, a utility player for the Oakland Athletics, had told her that his Los Angeles Angels teammates would make fun of Syndergaard about Cooper in the locker room.

“It can give us a little piece of mind, Alix, for everyone s—ting on us for our jobs, to know that people in the MLB locker rooms are forever going to be chanting our names until they f–king retire, which I’m sure mine is on his way out,” Cooper said as she and Earle applied her makeup.
“He can’t get a f–king contract. It’s not that I look [at the MLB news], people just send me this s–t.”
Wade and Syndergaard played together with the Angels in 2022, even though Cooper and Earle omitted to name them.

As previously reported by The Post, Cooper and Syndergaard started dating in April 2017 after being seen holding hands at a Knicks game.
In December 2017, Syndergaard, who was playing for the Mets at the time and had an on-and-off relationship, seemed to suggest he was single in a post on Twitter, now called X, that read: “Baseball is my significant other” with the hashtag “focus.”

In an interview with Rolling Stone that was published on Tuesday, Cooper discussed the connection.
“I was living this very glamorous lifestyle because he was rich,” she said. “And I was nobody.”
Since he underwent Tommy John surgery in 2020, Syndergaard has had difficulty.
After just six starts and a 5.40 ERA in 33 1/3 innings with the Cleveland Guardians, Syndergaard was released last month.

After the Dodgers’ season got off to a terrible start, something happened.
From 2015 to 21, Syndergaard was a dominant pitcher for the Mets, and in 2016, he was selected to the All-Star game.
He signed with the Angels as a free agency in 2022, and before the trade deadline that year, Los Angeles sent him to the Phillies.

Noah Syndergaard began Game 5 against the Astros, riding Philadelphia’s late-season push all the way to the World Series. He was charged with the loss after allowing two earned runs in three innings of work.

In April 2023, the couple—who had connected via a Zoom conversation in 2020—announced their engagement.
