Giannis has gone on a media tour this summer, saying several times that if he doesn’t win a championship with the Bucks, he may search for another NBA team.

The ESPN presenter took out the two-time NBA MVP, who has shown interest in leaving Milwaukee for a better opportunity to win, and accused him of nepotism by securing team places for his brothers, Thanasis and Alex Antetokounmpo.

“You got your brothers occupying two roster spots,” Sharpe said during Wednesday’s instalment of “First Take,” before asking: “Are we gonna talk about that?
“You know good and well, Giannis, your brothers probably not going to be playing for any other team in the NBA except Milwaukee, and that’s only because of you.

“So you keep talking about surrounding yourself with talent — there’s two spots being occupied by your brothers.”
Meanwhile, “First Take” star Stephen A. Smith couldn’t contain his laughter over Sharpe’s comments.
The Milwaukee Bucks signed Thanasis Antetokounmpo to a one-year contract a few weeks ago. He has averaged 2.7 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.6 assists in four years with the team.
Giannis Antetokounmpo says he is going to Houston to workout with Hakeem “The Dream” Olajuwon.
"Before training camp, I'm going down to Houston & try to work out with Hakeem Olajuwon. Few people I worked out with KG, Kobe, & Hakeem would be the 3rd guy. I love his game. If I… pic.twitter.com/eQq7w5z567

On the one hand, it’s easy to agree with what Shannon Sharpe stated regarding the Milwaukee Bucks. While Giannis Antetokounmpo has shown to be a generational talent, the same cannot be said about his siblings. Despite this, the organization keeps re-signing them.
Milwaukee is clearly doing something to keep their top player happy, which isn’t a terrible thing. As a small-market business, they must do more to care for their stars in order to maintain them. Especially in this scenario, when Giannis is unsure what he wants to do next.

Sharpe was responding to Giannis’ recent statements on the “48 Minutes” Bleav podcast, in which the NBA star referred to himself as a winner and stated that he is willing to leave Milwaukee for a better circumstance if he does not see a dedication to winning from his present club.
“As long as we play and approach the game the right way every single day and we all sacrifice for a common goal, I can see myself being with the Milwaukee Bucks for the rest of my career,” the 28-year-old added.

“But the moment I feel like people are not committed as I am to get that golden thing in the back … I am a Milwaukee Buck, but most importantly, I am a winner. I want to win.
