“I talk to grown ups” – CSU Coach Jay Norvell Take a Sly Dig at Deion Sanders With ‘Hats & Glasses’ Barb
As the two prepare to face off this weekend, Colorado State head coach Jay Norvell just fired out a dig at Deion Sanders, making fun of Coach Prime for the way he wears his hat and sunglasses.
When discussing how he and his team were conducting interviews in advance of Saturday’s game between Colorado State and Colorado, the Rams boss slung some shade on his weekly radio broadcast on Wednesday night.

Deion is known for wearing his cap, and sunglasses, and virtually always speaks to reporters on television. Clearly a dig at that expression, Norvell’s remarks were.
The former Dallas Cowboys player has not yet commented, at least not explicitly, but you can guarantee he will use it as inspiration for his Buffs team’s bulletin board content nevertheless.
Great to visit with @cbseric and @JustinTMichael to wrap up our media tour in Denver today talking about the Rams! 🐏🏔️#RamGrit 👕 pic.twitter.com/qEGWEB2wyw

After all, the belief that they aren’t receiving national respect has been a major contributor to CU’s 2-0 start this season. The Buffs actually made no secret of the fact that Nebraska coach Matt Rhule’s pregame remarks and conduct contributed to their Saturday victory over the Huskers.
Great to have @mcbtrey at practice today! We tried to get him another year of eligibility, but he’s enjoying life in the NFL now! pic.twitter.com/tyhVqw2lrs

The Rams vs. Buffs game will begin at 7 p.m. Colorado is now a 23.5-point favorite, but after Norvell’s dig at the Bear, that may change.
