LSU Athletes, Olivia Dunne And Angel Reese Rocked The SI Photoshoot And Now Are On ‘Sports Illustrated’ Covered

2023 has been a significant year for LSU athletes Angel Reese and Olivia Dunne. Since the introduction of the NI) laws governing collegiate athletics and monetization, the duo, along with a number of their fellow Tigers players, have been hard at work developing their brands.

Reese, a senior transfer from the University of Maryland, assisted the Tigers women’s basketball team in winning the first-ever National Championship trophy in the spring and was named the Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player in the process.

Dunne, the highest-paid female athlete in the nation and the second-highest-paid college athlete behind Bronny James, the son of NBA legend LeBron James, has experienced significant success this year as well. The gymnast established The Livvy Fund, a program designed to aid other LSU female student-athletes in locating brand partnerships and profiting from their identities, in an effort to share the income and her accomplishment with other female athletes.

The couple have established their reputations via their achievements in the gym and in creating their brands. They have made a reputation for themselves this year through a variety of accomplishments, including athletic victories, business transactions they have closed, and assistance with others’ endeavors. The couple consequently secured spots in the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue for themselves individually.

Sports Illustrated will feature Reese and Dunne on its cover in October. Both athletes are profiled in the monthly publication, dubbed “The Money Issue,” along with other female Tigers, emphasizing their accomplishments in the world of NIL. Reese and Dunne are leading the way in the transformation of college athletics by using their personal brands and encouraging other female athletes to do the same.
