Bucs’ Reporter Aileen Hnatiuk Going To Start New Season After Taking A Beach Trip

Reporter Aileen Hnatiuk’s switch from the New Orleans Saints to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is an NFL offseason move that isn’t being discussed nearly enough. The former volleyball player from East Carolina is on the verge of becoming famous.

She’s well-positioned to have a breakout year in Tampa with the Bucs after largely going unnoticed with the Saints last season. Aileen’s last signoff performance in New Orleans during the previous season generated numbers that put her on Screencaps’ radar, and the rest is history.

There is no turning back now that there is a social media star. Aileen made the decision to return to Tampa in June and was thrilled to be joining the sports team at WFLA.

“I am ecstatic to share with y’all I’m joining @wfla’s talented Sports Team in Tampa as a Sports Reporter. The station I grew up watching! I can’t believe I’m typing that out,” she announced. “(I literally used to hope they’d air my high school volleyball highlights 😂)

“I’ll be covering the Bucs, Lightning, Rays, Rowdies, USF & more. Grateful doesn’t do this feeling justice to be blessed with this opportunity.”

Before leaving for Bucs training camp, Aileen completed her last tasks in New Orleans. She greeted the start of the season by acknowledging that it already felt like the middle of the season after covering camp and the entire preseason in Tampa.

The NFC South Will Be Ruled By Aileen Hnatiuk

Working hard throughout the off-season achieves this. To start the season off strong and as close to midseason form as possible, you want to dominate Week 1.

Aileen already did that. For her debut season playing in Tampa, she is more than ready.

Prior to traveling to Minnesota, where the Buccaneers will play the Vikings in their season opener on Sunday, she hit the beach to refresh her tan and her abilities.

The importance of getting going quickly will remain. This year’s NFC South is extremely competitive, and a club with a losing record has a good chance of taking home the championship.

Being in midseason shape going into the season will only be beneficial. Forget about the Bucs’ offseason acquisition of Baker Mayfield, or really any other move they made.

The biggest shift was undoubtedly Aileen’s relocation to Tampa to cover the Bucs. The Saints suffered a loss that was truly terrible.
