Natalie Portman Showed Up To Support The Soccer Star Jennifer Hermoso Amid Rubiales’ Inappropriate Behaviour

Natalie Portman, an actress, has spoken on the Luis Rubiales incident and is on Jennifer Hermoso’s side of the debate.

Following Spain’s triumph against England in the FIFA Women’s World Cup, the controversy flared up again when Jennifer Hermoso received a kiss on the lips from the president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

Hermoso said that the kiss was offensive, but Rubiales maintained that it was consensual and refused to resign from his post, claiming that a “social assassination” was going on.

The Spanish government has started judicial processes to accuse the 46-year-old of sexually assaulting Hermoso, and FIFA subsequently suspended the president for a period of 90 days.

Hermoso has gotten a great deal of help from peers and society, including the legendary Spanish players Xavi and Iniesta.

The Jorge Vilda coaching staff quit in support of the female football player, and her colleagues decided not to play for their country as long as Rubiales was in charge.

Natalie Portman, who is most known for her roles as Jane Foster in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Padme Amidala in the Star Wars series, is one of the most recent people to add her name to the support.

The actress sent a message on Instagram, “I stand with @JenniHermoso #SeAcabo”.

‘Se acabo’, a hashtag connected with the controversy that means “It’s over” in English, is akin to #MeToo.

According to reports, Bajar reportedly barricaded herself inside a church and refused to eat, citing the ‘inhuman’ treatment of her son by society as a result of his acts at the World Cup final.

Vanessa Ruiz, his cousin, also endorsed the president.

“We are suffering a lot for him,” Ruiz said to the media. “He has been judged before his time.

“[The media] don’t stop harassing us. We had to leave our house. We want them to leave us alone and for Jenni to tell the truth. It’s not fair.”
