Marshall declared that a 16-year-old kid had passed away as a result of a groin gunshot wound received during the incident. According to Marshall, the young man did not attend Choctaw or Del City high schools.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office is looking into a gunshot that happened at the site that included an officer from the Del City Police Department as an officer-involved incident. For security reasons, there were two Del City police officers there.

Five officers from the Choctaw Police Department were also present at the game for security reasons, as is customary for home games.

At this moment, there are no suspects in custody, however an individual of interest has been described to the detectives.

Police reported that they collected two weapons and eight bullets from the site.
