Here’s Why Olivia Dunne Said, “Never Give Up” After Attending Her Boyfriend’s Debut Match

Olivia Dunne, who is regaining her gymnastics form, has a straightforward message about what “cardio day” at LSU is like.

The gymnast had announced on Sunday that she was returning to LSU in an Instagram story. She then posted a new video on her TikTok in which she and the other Lady Tigers are relaxing on a mat in the gym, perhaps following a challenging session.

The video’s opening line was lip-synced by coach Jay Clark to the sound of “Never back down, never what?”

“Never give up,” was the response as the camera switched to Dunne sitting on the ground with her colleagues.

The line was repeated as Dunne and the team appeared worn out.

Dunne even gave the impression of being embarrassed to laugh.

Tigers don’t give up on cardio day, according to Dunne’s TikTok caption.

As the hectic summer comes to an end, the social media sensation, who has 7.7 million Instagram followers, is back on campus.

The 20-year-old Dunne appeared in a spread in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and even assisted in some hosting duties at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles in July while supporting her fellow Lady Tigers.

The big news, however, was only just made public when it became known that Dunne was dating Pirates No. 1 draft pick Paul Skenes.

Additionally an LSU alum, Skenes admitted to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that although dating the famous gymnast has been enjoyable, there are drawbacks as well.

“It can be a pain in the butt sometimes, to be honest, in terms of actually going somewhere. If one of us went out in Baton Rouge [La.] by ourselves, there’s probably gonna be someone there asking for something — picture, autograph, whatever,”  Skenes said.

“It’s nice to be able to have that conversation. She does get it. I do wish she could come to a baseball game and just enjoy it. It does irk me. I don’t have any control over it. She really doesn’t either.“I’m sure it’ll get better as I go up levels, but that’s something I want for her.”
