NFL Hall Of Famer Brett Favre in Trouble After Failing to Produce Text Messages to Department of Human Services
Brett Favre needs to stop letting his fingers speak for him.
According to Front Office Sports, the Hall of Fame quarterback is charged with failing to provide text messages to the Mississippi Department of Human Services as requested by its welfare fund probe.
The argument in the case is that Favre assisted in allocating millions of dollars in federal welfare monies to initiatives that he favored.

According to the allegations, Favre and the other participants in the scam conspired through text conversations.
“Despite being identified as the sender or recipient on the face of these text messages, Favre objected and claimed he could not verify many of these text messages’ authenticity. … His production contained no text messages, though MDHS specifically requested text messages with other defendants,” Lawyers for MDHS stated in the document.

In 2017, while his daughter was participating in volleyball for the university, Favre allegedly tried to raise $5 million to create a center for the sport at the University of Southern Mississippi.
If Favre receiving a text message that gets him into trouble seems familiar, it should.
In 2010, it was revealed that Jenn Sterger, a former Jets sideline reporter, had accused Brett Favre of sending inappropriate texts, voicemails, and images in 2008, his lone season in New York.
Despite looking into the allegations, the NFL was unable to determine whether Favre had broken any workplace conduct rules.
Favre was fined $50,000 for refusing to cooperate with the NFL’s investigation even though he admitted to sending the voicemails but not the images.
Sterger saw the irony of Favre’s current texting issues when he tweeted last year, “Oh.. NOWWWWW he gets in trouble for inappropriate texts.”
