In one of the videos, Harden is shown performing a rehearsed dance with an Adidas model, always falling behind but yet grinning broadly.

In 2022, Harden started his own “J-Harden Wines” brand with the intention of “bringing excitement to the industry and turning some heads” by using eye-catching colours and featuring himself in a photo on the prosecco, sauvignon blanc, and red wine bottles.

Harden told viewers during the live stream that the wine was “not expensive” and said that he would often sell a couple of cases in a single day.

Harden, 33, estimated that perhaps a few cases might be sold, but when they told him that 10,000 bottles were gone in only a few minutes, he was shocked.

Fans adored the basketball legend’s “down-to-earth” answer, which featured some humorous facial expressions and a cartwheel in the backdrop of the live video. The episode went viral on China’s Twitter-like site Weibo.

Last week, Harden made his first trip back to China in four years. He was there to meet fans, take part in events, and talk to young basketball players. However, he also made headlines by criticizing 76ers president Morey, who is a sensitive issue with Chinese media.

Whether or not the entire event was staged, Harden was in high spirits as he applauded and celebrated the accomplishment.

For labelling Morey “a liar” and declaring he would never play for the team again, Harden recently went viral on Chinese social media at a press conference at an Adidas-sponsored event in Beijing.
