Giants’ Star Daniel Jones Is Extremely Confident In His Skills
Daniel Jones, the quarterback for the New York Giants, is certain that he is deserving of the title of the team’s star.
The Giants gave Jones a four-year, £124 million ($160 million) contract earlier in the off-season. This is to £31 million ($40 million), which places him among the NFL quarterbacks with the highest salaries.

But the quarterback situation in New York continues to be a major concern. Is it appropriate to consider Daniel Jones a top-tier quarterback as he begins his sixth NFL season? Or does he still need to make a case? Recently, the top signal-caller himself chimed in on the discussion, and his response could give Giants supporters more hope.

In a recent interview with Art Stapleton of the Bergen Record, Jones addressed the scepticism directed at him and his ability to guide the Giants to more success following their unexpected playoff trip in 2022.
However, there are some who are questioning how the contract was awarded. However, the athlete is confident in his abilities and what he can provide the Giants.

Jones told Stapleton, “I’m pretty secure in myself. “I have a lot of faith that I can lead this team to many victories and play this game at a high level.”
The No.6 overall pick from the 2019 NFL Draft is getting ready for his fifth season with the Giants. In the process, he has replaced franchise and league Eli Manning as the Giants’ starting QB.

While the Giants and Detroit Lions both participated in practice, Jones had a bad day during an 11-on-11 game. For a quarterback who completed a career-high 67 per cent of his attempts last year, his performance during the session was somewhat uncommon as he completed only 42 per cent of his throws and missed a few open wideouts.

Jones, though, made the decision to continue working after Tuesday’s practice. The former Duke Blue Devil, who will be expected to attempt more shots down the field in 2023, has frequently been criticized for his deep throws, so the 26-year-old remained late to continue practising on them.
