How long Michael Jordan and his wife Yvette Prieto have been in Europe is difficult to trace.
The NBA legend and former model, who has been wed since 2013, were captured on camera on Monday swimming off the French resort town of Villefranche-sur-Mer.
Jordan was observed relaxing on a personal terrace with Prieto, 44, and a handful of his friends.
The 60-year-old watched while Prieto changed into a bikini and got ready for a swim. On Sunday, the sale of the Charlotte Hornets was allegedly approved for a valuation of around $3 billion.
Other pictures included Jordan plunging into the water while still wearing clothing and the couple giggling with the others.
All throughout July, Jordan has been in the news for both business and pleasure.
The family traveled to Italy earlier this month, where they were seen taking a boat cruise off the coast of Sicily with their 9-year-old twin daughters, Victoria and Ysabel.
Jordan and Prieto also got together with their friends, Judge Greg Mathis, actor Samuel L. Jackson, and legendary Lakers player Magic Johnson, together with each of their wives, for a group meal at Capri’s renowned Da Paolino Ristorante.
Jordan caused a commotion online when he was questioned by a paparazzi in Paris about his son Marcus’ relationship with Larsa Pippen only days before they were sighted in Italy.

Jordan laughed before he said, “No!” Jordan was last seen leaving the Matignon restaurant in Paris on July 2 with his wife.
A few days later, on their “Separation Anxiety” podcast, Marcus, 32, and Larsa, 49, who had previously been married to Jordan’s former Bulls colleague Scottie Pippen, discussed the circumstance.
Marcus revealed that Jordan had texted his son before the news broke to warn him about the paparazzi incident and that his father’s response was a joke and the product of too much tequila.

After the incident made headlines, Larsa said that she was “traumatised” and “embarrassed” by the experience.
Marcus added that the “root” of the situation being a major topic is that many people focus on his dad’s deteriorating relationship with Pippen.
