Jets’ Micheal Clemons Returns To Training Cam In ‘The Walking Dead’ Outfit & Barbed Wire Bat

That is how you enter an NFL training camp, to be honest. The best entry this season is made by Jets’ Michael Clemons!

Michael Clemons made the decision to arrive at the New York Jets training camp on the first day without a shirt on and carrying a spiked bat similar to Negan’s from The Walking Dead.

It’s obvious that he’s sending a message to the other teams in the league or that he just wants to make a huge impression on the Hard Knocks cameras that are monitoring everyone entering the facilities.

While the Jets reluctantly accepted their “Hard Knocks” destiny, Micheal Clemons seemed to be relishing the spotlight.

On Wednesday, the defensive end showed up for the Jets’ first day of training camp naked, sunglasses, and a barbed-wire bat.

The surprising adornment that Clemons is wearing is similar to Negan’s from “The Walking Dead.”

Perhaps Clemons is seeking to convey a similar message to the villain, whose bat was named Lucille and intimidated everybody who stood in his path.

NFL Films cameras were on the scene to capture all the footage for the forthcoming season of the HBO docuseries, and the team shared the slo-mo cameo on Twitter.

“I totally forgot about the ‘specifically coordinated w social media team arrival to training camp’ slo-mo videos. Football is officially back,” PFT Commenter said on Twitter.

“If there was any doubt who the main character on Hard Knocks is…” Connor Rogers from NBC Sports added.

Clemons, a versatile defensive lineman who was selected by the Jets in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, is entering his second season of play with the potential to play a larger role.

With a stated starting weight of over 290 pounds and a height of 6 feet 5 inches, Clemons is a big-body ready to contribute.

Later this week, the Jets are supposed to start training camp. On August 8, make sure to watch Hard Knocks.

I can only image how much screen time Michael Clemons may get on the famous program if this is how he shows up on the first day.
