Top 10 Wide Receivers In NFL Heading Into The 2023 Season
TOP 10 NFL WRs:
10.) Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle
Waddle had his most productive yet thus far in the NFL. He has proven to be an elite separator and is quite productive after the catch. I think his spike in efficiency this year can be attributed to a newly scheme Mike McDaniels offense as well as Tyreek Hill taking some of the burden off that comes with being a WR1 in the NFL.

9.) Commanders WR Terry Mclaurin
Another receiver coming off their best season yet. Mclaurin dominated against the hardest of competition. He had his best games against cornerback matchups such as Darius Slay, Stephon Gilmore, and Trevon Diggs. He rose to the occasion when it really mattered. Keep in mind he is only 6’-1” and caught over 65% of his contested targets.
8.) Cowboys WR Ceedee Lamb
Lamb is one of the most versatile wide receivers in the NFL. His route running is very fluid and it’s why he is able to win on the outside and in the slot. He is also very productive after the catch. He has come a long way since his rookie year.
7.) Eagles WR AJ Brown
It seems to be the consensus in the sports world that AJ Brown is a 5 or 6 WR in the NFL but I believe otherwise. Compared to the guys above him, Brown’s route tree is limited to just slants and go’s. He is one of the most physically dominant after the catch and that is why he wins most of his 50/50 matchups. He also carries some very impressive releases off the line.

6.) Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase
He is the focal point of the Bengals offense. He does it all, Smooth route running, dangerous after the catch and his deadly connection with Joe Burrow causes some real trouble for defenses. The only real argument that can be made against Chase is he has a serious drop issue. In 2022 he was 3rd in the league in drops with 11.
5.) Rams WR Cooper Kupp
Don’t sleep on Cooper Kupp, he may have been injured for most of the year but when he is on the field he is the most efficient WR in the NFL. In 2021, he won the triple crown and is the most intelligent football player on the field which is why he manipulates defenses so easily.

4.) Bills WR Stefon Diggs
Without fail probably is a top 3 route runner in the NFL and has some of the smoothest releases you may ever see. Before Diggs arrived in Buffalo Josh Allen wasn’t as successful as he is today. Although Allen is one of the most gifted QBs in the NFL, I think it’s fair to say his success is very dependent on Diggs.

3.) Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill
Many people thought Tyreek Hill wouldn’t carry over his previous success in Kansas to Miami as the quarterback situation in Kansas City is more favorable than that of the Dolphins. However, the exact opposite happened. In terms of receiving yards, Hill had his best year yet, putting up over 1700 yards. Hill’s electric speed and his route running is a havoc for defenses and he can win on all 3 levels of the football field.

2.) Raiders WR Davonte Adams
There is no hiding from the fact that going from Aaron Rodgers one year to Derek Carr the next is for sure a massive downgrade in QB play. But this isn’t Adams’s fault. Throughout the year Adams still was able to prove why he is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. His hands are unmatched and his route running is among the best in the league.
1.) Vikings WR Justin Jefferson
Jefferson is the best WR in the NFL. He is consistently productive due to his ability to catch just about anything as well as being the best route runner in the NFL. His Physicality is a gift and he is an absolute game changer for the Vikings.
