Chiefs’ Travis Kelce Slams Ja’Marr Chase For “Pat Who” Comment

Even though the NFL season has yet to begin, the rivalry between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs has continued to flare up. Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Chiefs, responded to Ja’Marr Chase, a Bengals wide receiver, when he asked, “Pat who?”

When informed that Burrow had chosen Mahomes, Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase defended his quarterback as the greatest in the league but said, “Pat who?” Chase said it in jest, but Mahomes and the Chiefs took it personally.

Mahomes tweeted a picture of himself with his two Super Bowl rings last week during the Chiefs’ ring presentation ceremony, writing, “That’s who.”

Kelce and his brother Jason discussed Chase’s jab at the Chiefs QB on his “New Heights” podcast. In light of the fact that Chase had just won a second Super Bowl, Travis Kelce deemed it to be “bold” of Chase to criticize the best player in the league.

“I thought it was a little bold,” Travis Kelce said, via Charles Goldman of USA Today. “[Mahomes is] a two-time league MVP, two-time Super Bowl MVP. To say ‘Pat who’ is like. . .”

“It’s a little disrespectful,” Jason Kelce piped in. “Pat didn’t like it.”

Jason Kelce continued by describing the tweet Mahomes sent to Chase.
