Kenny Pickett thinks that Taylor Swift will “forgive” him for skipping the Pittsburgh leg of her successful “Eras Tour” this past weekend.

The 25-year-old Steelers quarterback stated he wouldn’t be attending Swift’s concert ahead of the two-night event at Acrisure Stadium since he and his fiance, Amy Paternoster, are being married this summer in a few short days.

A video posted Friday on the Steelers’ Instagram page shows Pickett telling a reporter about the impending wedding, “We’re driving home on Friday to get it all squared away.”

Swift wrapped up her two-night stop in Pittsburgh on Saturday. The 12-time Grammy winner will next weekend perform at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

About a year and a half after becoming engaged, Pickett, who is beginning his second season with the Steelers, will shortly say, “I do,” to Paternoster.

The couple has been getting ready for the big day since they announced their engagement in January 2022.

Paternoster, a former NCAA soccer player who graduated from Princeton University, was honored during her bridal shower in Asbury Park, New Jersey, last month.

The soon-to-be bride gushed on Instagram at the time, “Thank you to all of the thoughtful and generous women in my life for showering me with so much love.”

“Words cannot describe how proud I am of you, nor how happy I am to see all of your dreams come true. There is nobody more deserving of this! I can’t wait to see all of the amazing things you have yet to accomplish. Let’s go home!!!” she said.
