This father’s day is a special one for Kevin love as he and Kate Bock welcomed their first child

The first Father’s Day for Kevin Love is in the books.

Over the long weekend, the Miami Heat star, who welcomed his first kid with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Kate Bock on June 10, tweeted the first picture of the infant.

On Sunday, Love was photographed at home in Miami, Florida, holding their new baby on his chest.

Bock uploaded a new version of the image to her Instagram Story along with the words “Mine” and a white heart emoji.

NBA players from the past and present, including Chris Paul, Kendrick Perkins, Wayne Ellington, Kevin Porter Jr., and J.R. Smith, offered congratulations to the pair after their June 2022 wedding.

Love participated in 14 minutes in the elimination game and finished with three points and two rebounds.

Love and Bock kept their pregnancy a secret.

In April, Bock attended the reopening of Tiffany & Co.’s famous flagship shop in New York City while flaunting her growing baby bump in a form-fitting black gown.

The couple remained silent when the pregnancy news at the time made headlines.

Last summer, Love and Bock exchanged vows at the New York Public Library in a ceremony with a “Great Gatsby” theme.

Bock said to Vogue at the time that the event was their “dream celebration come to life,” adding that the couple had imagined “an old-school New York City” ball.

In January 2021, the day after Bock turned 33, Love asked her to marry him.

Five years before, the rather discreet couple had worked with the same photographer in New York and had met while on set.

After agreeing to a contract buyout with the Cavaliers, Love signed with the Heat in February.
